Sing a song of sixpence / A pocket full of rye / Four and twenty blackbirds / Baked in a pie.  This one of a kind woodfired casserole dish is bursting with twenty blackbirds sculpted on the lid, and four painted around the sides.  The birds are irridescent blues, greens and browns, blending into black, while the body of the vessle flashes in the toasty oranges and browns of a pie crust.  The interior is glazed a creamy orange.  Completely functional, this casserole would serve as a magnificent centerpiece for your holiday table, but please use care while cooking and serving with this dish!  Pre-heat the body of this vessel with your oven, and please cover with tinfoil while cooking and leave the lid out of the heat.  When not in use, this decorative casserole is a beautiful display item for your home.  Dimesions 12 x 7 x 13 inches.
